Where we build in Delaware
All three counties, from the Pennsylvania line to the Maryland one. The pages below are not sales copy with the town name swapped in. Each one covers the zoning that applies, who actually issues the permit, what the ground is like and how far we are from it, because those are the four things that decide what a build costs and how long it takes.
This is our home county. The office is in Bear, so most of New Castle is fifteen to twenty-five minutes away and our crews are on site first thing rather than an hour into the day.
Kent is the middle distance from the Bear office. Smyrna is about half an hour, Dover around forty-five minutes, and Milford at the southern end about an hour and ten. All of it is comfortable working range.
Sussex is our longest run. From the Bear office it is about an hour and twenty to the western towns and up to an hour and fifty to the far southeast corner. We are straight about what that means further down this page.
A note on distance
Our office is in Bear, and we are straight with people about what that means. New Castle County is fifteen to twenty-five minutes away and we run those builds with daily supervision without thinking about it. Kent is half an hour to an hour and ten, still comfortable. Sussex is an hour and twenty to an hour and fifty, and a project down there works differently: local Sussex trades doing the work, and our visits planned around the stages that genuinely need someone on the site.
If you are weighing us against someone closer to your lot, ask. We will tell you honestly whether the distance is going to cost you anything on your particular project, and sometimes the answer is that you would be better off with a local firm. That is a more useful conversation than a pitch.
